Dear Editors:

 

 Bill Tate from Alexandria writes that Baney Frank reminds him "of someone who would rather win an argument while making his opponent look small than achieve the "art of the possible"". Ironically, this is almost a perfect statement of the current Republican Congresspersons' mantra. They want to win at whatever cost. Let the country go down the tubes but we will not budge.

 

To paraphrase his concluding statement - what the country needs is more statespersons with genuine interest in promoting what is best for the citizens of the country rather than in just winning.
